Why use an agriculture drone? Does it work as well as traditional sprayers? What do I need to operate one?

We know you have many questions about drones and incorporating them into your operation. We're here to help.

How Well Do They Work?

Field trials and feedback show that the Agras T50 Sprayer Drone has a consistent coverage width of 32 feet and can accurately follow the terrain on slopes up to 40 degrees. Canadian drone operators can currently apply specific biological larvicides and herbicides, but not other types of agricultural pesticides.

What If It Crashes? Is it Safe?

The Agras T50 features a 3D spherical radar system that builds its environment in real time, allowing it to know exactly where it is and what's around it. It has built-in instructions on how to operate in the event of a near-collision, a critical battery issue, or a loss in connection to the control system.

We Help Get You Started & Beyond

You'll be going into this with confidence in your abilities. Working in partnership with Rocky Mountain Drones, we provide the training and certification you'll need. Once your drone is up and running, we'll be here to help with services like maintenance and to answer any questions or concerns you might have.

Save Money

When you add up all the materials, gas, and maintenance costs needed to keep ground sprayers running, you'll find that ag drones are significantly more affordable than traditional sprayers.

Ease of Use

While ag drones may seem daunting at first, they're actually quite easy to use. If you can operate a basic computer or cell phone, you can operate the T50. Its software is foolproof, allowing for fully autonomous operation. After you've gained some experience using the T50, your biggest challenge will be changing the battery and refilling the tank.
